What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Banknock?
Banknock property owners choose from three survey types: a Tree Condition Report for general health checks, a Mortgage Tree Report for lender requirements, and a BS5837 survey for planning applications.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structure and safety of a specific tree or group of trees. Homeowners, landlords and insurers request this report to identify decay, disease or risk of failure.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report is required when a lender's valuer flags trees near the property during a mortgage application. The report satisfies major UK lender requirements and clears the condition before funds release.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 survey categorises every tree on site into one of four grades, sets a root protection area for each, and produces a tree constraints plan. Falkirk Council requires this survey for planning applications affecting trees.
