What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Polmont?
Three survey types are available in Polmont: Tree Condition Reports for general health and risk assessment, Mortgage Tree Reports for lender requirements, and BS5837 surveys for planning applications.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structure and risk category of specific trees on a property. Homeowners, landlords and insurers request one to establish whether a tree needs remedial work or removal.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report is required when a lender's valuer identifies trees close to the property during a survey. It satisfies the tree-related conditions set by major UK mortgage lenders before funds release.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 survey categorises every tree on site into one of four grades, sets root protection areas and produces a tree constraints plan. Falkirk Council requires this survey for planning applications involving trees.
